I would like to personally recommend and thank Dr. Katie Surdyk (internal medicine, oncology). My dog Roxy was diagnosed with acute leukemia by Dr. Surdyk. From day 1 she was in it to win it. Her positiveness kept me strong. She listened and answered my thousands of questions about cancer and various treatments, took my calls whenever I called and pulled me off the ledge more than once. She was so sweet with Roxy and truly cared about her and her well being. I want to thank you so much for thinking about her at crazy hours of the day & night, losing sleep over her (and me) and walking us through this horrible disease. Your medical intuition and skill is priceless. I’d also like to thank the vet techs who took care of Roxy night and day, the wonderful ER doctors who took care of both of us over the weekend and the receptionists who could not have been more helpful or kind. – Lisa Schwan
